The Lösershag is a mountain near Oberbach. On this mountain there is a jungle in the upper area.
Nothing has been done in this forest for over 60 years. Here nature is left to itself. Here you will find fallen trees, new trees and the entire layers of a forest from the soil layer over the herb layer, shrub layer up to the tree layer, over 100 types of fungi and snails and especially the basalt block fields as witnesses of the volcanism in the Rhön.
