You can get to know the secret life of mushrooms on the Gräfenwarth mushroom adventure trail. As a starting point, I recommend the parking lot at the junction to the barrier wall. There are many display boards along the path that provide information about the mushrooms. There are also wonderful views of the Bleilochtalsperre and the Wetterabrücke.

That was another wonderful Sunday morning excursion😍
By car, you drive from Schleiz through Gräfenwath and can park right at the start of the Mushroom Adventure Trail. Right at the beginning, you can discover the life of mushrooms with a mushroom mycelium made of rope! Along the north bank of the Bleiloch Dam, you walk along the Mariechenweg (Mariechen Trail). You can take your first short break at the Mariechenblick (Mariechen View) and enjoy a spectacular view! As you continue towards the dam wall on the north bank, you'll always have a view of the dam and the many small sailboats cruising there.
Returning towards Gräfenwarth, you pass the Wildwiese barefoot pool, which is another great place to take a short break.
Back in Gräfenwath, I treated myself to a delicious meal at the Hotel Piccolo. I highly recommend it!
