The Sternenwaldhütte is located in the so-called Sternenwald, an approximately 140 hectare forest area located roughly between Arras Castle and Marienburg. The hut is located at the end of the road “Auf Tannerd” at an altitude of 160 meters above sea level. It was built in 2009 by the Alf local history and tourism association.
There is a forest parking lot at the hut, so the Sternenwaldhütte is an ideal starting point for hikes to a wide variety of places. The Alf forest nature trail also begins here.
