The annual chapel festival takes place at the Nothelfer chapel. For a long time, the place was the destination of pilgrimages and is still used today for May and Marian devotions. The Chapel of the Fourteen Saints was built in memory of the 14 Holy Helpers. The owner of the Wülfershäuser shepherd erected a wayside shrine for the first time in 1754, and in 1857 this area was built over with a chapel.
The miraculous image with the 14 Holy Helpers on the altar of the Wülfershausen chapel is modeled on the Basilica of the Fourteen Saints near Staffelstein in Upper Franconia. The inscription reads: "Great helper in need, stand by me until death. Give me your hands of mercy when my life is about to end!”
