South of Rommelsried, towards Deubach, is the Holy Sepulcher Chapel, which was built in the Gothic Revival style in 1868. It was donated by the Georg and Walburga Hörmann family from Rommelsried and contains an altar that is probably unique in Germany today and is adorned with hundreds of Bohemian glass beads. This altar was manufactured and erected by the Emil Sbitek company from Olomouc in Moravia in 1871.
Only a few of these glass bead altars exist outside of Germany, for example in Austria, the Czech Republic and Poland, but these are only set up during Holy Week.

The Holy Sepulcher Chapel on the Calvary Hill above Rommelsried is only open to the public on 3 days of the year: on Palm Sunday, Good Friday and Holy Saturday.
