A gem in the small Odenwald. Built in 1881 with funds provided by City Councilor Dr. Louis Posselt's legacy, the tower became a popular destination. Some mysteries surround the tower like ivy. Somewhere in the vicinity there is supposed to be an underground grotto, the entrance of which has been buried. And it is said to have been used for military research purposes. Together with several other towers in the area (including the Gaisbergturm and Heiligenbergturm) it is an expression of a veritable tower mania and castle romance in the late 19th century. But it is always beautiful. As soon as Corona measures are a thing of the past, it will also be open again on weekends and public holidays.
