A wonderful section of the Wertach cycle path from Ettringen to Kaufbeuren. The water workers took many measures to give the aquatic creatures a better life. The reservoirs offer ecological niches for many living creatures, the fish ladders, which are often installed on the barrages, increase the mobility of the aquatic creatures and, with their noise, also increase the quality of life of those seeking relaxation.

As a cyclist, you usually go in the shade on well-maintained gravel and forest paths, but if you want, you can also walk quickly along the river. There are many places to stop and simply enjoy nature.
