Remscheid: The town of Platz is honored with plaques

The importance of the town of Platz is recognized for the second time. After local researcher Barbara Rodler published her book in 2018 on the “Development of the Remscheid iron industry using the example of the town of Platz”, she and the “Hasten for Hasten” association now present ten information boards that explain the importance of the Morsbach settlement for industrial development . Using old documents, the agile 77-year-old had proven that there was an iron smelter and an iron hammer in place 1554.
