A quarry pond that invites you to swim and relax.
The Pfordter See, which is fed by groundwater, was created from a gravel pit and is around 11 hectares in the Fuldaaue in the Pfordt district. The shore of the Pfordter See is very steep in some places and flat in other areas of the lake. In the warm season, the lake is often used as a bathing lake. Even in dry summers, the water level is almost constant.

Another absolute secret tip. Here you can (almost) do everything. The swimmers are back in the water, the campers are distributed around the lake and barbecued at every beautiful spot ... and almost all year round.
