Tips
Fantastic hike through the Ilsetal in the footsteps of Heinrich Heine. The food at the Waldgasthof Plessenburg was delicious and filling (plessenburg.de/). In a small but fine hut, we were lovingly cared for by a young landlady with cocoa and coffee. In the National Park House Ilsetal we were then surprised by a climbing wild cat.
Incidentally, the Bavarian Wolpertinger is called “Rasselbock” in the Harz Mountains.translated by
