Önkfeld has been known in the region for many years due to the Thanksgiving Festival celebrated there with a Thanksgiving procession. Tractors and trailers decorated by local farmers and communities, as well as various foot groups, will take part in this move. This festival is organized by the "Kulturgemeinde Önkfeld", which maintains the so-called "Haus der Kulturgemeinde" in Oberönkfeld (east of Önkfeld).
