The area was created in 2014 and covers 440 hectares. The two former domain reserves of Vitthult's primeval forest and Tängsjö escape were converted into nature reserves, merged and later expanded.

Here you can make wonderful walks through nature and enjoy the great herbal flora. Admire dead trees infested with fungi.

I recommend the way to Andrées Moor. The Swedish adventurer and balloonist Salomon August Andrée had to make an emergency landing here at the end of the 19th century.
