With 430 hectares, the Hülser Bruch has been Krefeld's largest nature reserve since 2002. It is located around four kilometers north of Krefeld city center and around two kilometers northeast of the incorporated town of Hüls. It is located in the Traar and Hüls districts. In the north is the Hülser Berg, the highest natural elevation at 63 meters. The Gelderner Fleuth, also called Flöthbach or Kütze Kall here, flows from the Bruch into the Niers.
