The rectory of the St-Amandus parish is located in a beautiful courtyard and is completely surrounded by water. The rectory, which was extensively renovated in 2011, is accessible via a bridge fitted with a wrought iron railing ending at a simple brick entrance building. The rectory garden also underwent a facelift in 2011. The municipality of Beernem could count on a subsidy for this, on condition that the zones outside the ring canal were made public to the public, which was also the case at the time.
