Here you have a good view of the earth pyramids of Nobls. It is one of several places in South Tyrol where you can see these geological phenomena. Protected from rain and erosion by a large, flat rock, 20 to 30 meter high pyramid-like towers have formed out of the loamy-red earth over the centuries, which today look like a piece of desert in the middle of the forest.
