Straußenfarm

In Germany you don't see ostriches very often (for us, as frequent travelers to South Africa, the guys are rather old acquaintances). Here you get very close to them, because the guys are incredibly curious! If you fall in love with her too much, you can say right away: Love goes through your stomach (you can stock up on ostrich meat or whistle a steak directly)… ;-)
When we stood there, two kites flew very close above us - one hovered directly above us for a while. We have also seen or heard other birds of prey in large numbers - it seems to be a paradise for birds!
