Drau Cycle Path Near Ferlach

In this section, the cycle path passes two reservoirs and passes in the middle of the Drava. The bridge over the Drava is a popular photo opportunity.

Beautiful cycle path along the Drau. The bike path is largely made of gravel. Nice and smooth downstream but upstream the rise is minimal.

Like a Garden of Eden, the Rosental lies embedded in an idyllic, well-kept cultural landscape, surrounded by deciduous forests, meadows and the peaks of the Karawanken. In between, water in its most beautiful form: Faaker See, Silbersee and Wörthersee are easily accessible from the cycle path. The Freistritz and Ferlach reservoirs are right on the cycle path. When cycling on the well-groomed paths, time becomes irrelevant.
