Hirschberghaus

The Hirschberghaus is located at 1,511 meters below the Hirschberg summit. Due to a search for a tenant, the hut is temporarily closed.

The Hirschberghaus can be reached via both the summer and winter paths. Because of the many bends in front of it, you can only see the house when you have almost reached it. The hosts cook easy but good. From the terrace you can also get a taste of the phenomenal view, which is later only better at the summit.

We were on 31.10.2017 again on the Hirschberg and it was again a super nice tour with extremely great view. On the way back we have this time made snack in the Hirschberg house and we were almost shocked by the prices. Almost 9, - € for a plate of lentil soup with two Viennese and a slice of bread is in my opinion rip-off, because there is also no argument that everything has to be brought up with the material web. This is synonymous elsewhere and the prices are still in the frame. Ergo, next time pack the backpack with summit beer and snack and make a bow around the Hirschberg house,
then the Hirschberg is still a worthwhile peak for a half-day trip.
