The showpiece of St. Georgen is undoubtedly its round church, which dates back to the 12th/13th century and was once the castle chapel of Alt-Schenna Castle, also known as St. Georgen Castle. The frescoes from the 14th century are well preserved and depict, among other things, the martyrdom of St. George. The Gothic winged altar also attracts the attention of visitors. Incidentally, only the keep, now known as the "Ulenturm", remains of Alt-Schenna Castle.
