not far from Unterkirnach, on foot or by bike on a beautiful route to reach, is the Täfeletanne, which has its name from the 19th century, when Unterkirnach still had to bury their dead in Villingen. In a winter a funeral procession got stuck in the snow and could not be recovered until spring. This plaque on the fir recalls it. Wonderfully quiet gelegen.Ein small pond with a hut and barbecue invite you to linger.
