Unique ferry with a hand pushed turning system. Apparently there used to be a lot of these ferry's throughout the UK, but this is the last one still operational. Great way of connecting 'main' land to Skye by bike or hike.

The last manually operated turntable ferry in the world! The old Skye ferry runs from April to October across the Kyle Rhea. This has been a crossing place for hundreds of years with a car ferry since 1934. The current boat is over 50 years old and it's a fun experience to cross here. It also allows a brilliant road loop around the local lochs and using the Skye Bridge to complete the loop.
Bikes (and cyclist) £4 each way.
