Hiking
Built in 1884, the old school building suffered severe damage during World War II. Until 1968, teaching was in a so-called "multi-level class" (i.e. students from different grades together in one classroom).
After the opening of the new POS in Saarmund in the early 1980s, school operations were completely shut down. In 1998 the "old school" opened as the local community center.
