Seespitz Station and Boat Dock

Seespitz is the terminus of the Achenseebahn. The Achensee steam cog railway has been clawing its way up the mountain, snorting and hissing, for 1889 years. From Jenbach in the Inn Valley to Lake Achensee, it climbs 440 meters in altitude over almost seven kilometers. It is the oldest of its kind in Europe and is still working tirelessly. Alternatively, the public bus will take you back to Achenkirch. There is a bus stop just a few meters away in the direction of Maurach.
