Egelborg House is a listed moated castle. The facility is located about one kilometer west of Legden city center. It was first mentioned in a document in 1389.

Originally, the facility was on two islands. Today the outer bailey and the main house, surrounded by two moats, are on a shared property. The facility was owned by the von Billerbeck family from the 14th to the 17th century. Then it went to the Barons von Oer, who own it to this day.
