Tips
In this area, the Hunte is not so much delimited by fortified banks or dikes as in Oldenburg, it flows very naturally through its surroundings. The different turns and side channels as well as the greenery all around make the eye happy.

The area is wonderful, but when the water level is high some paths near the Hunte are flooded and therefore practically impassable. If you are lucky, you will be able to walk on slightly elevated walls on a slightly dry slope.
