Monument to Friedrich Ludwig Christoph Jahn (1778-1852), also called "Turnvater Jahn". The monument was erected on the 50th anniversary of his death in 1952 by the Nossen gymnastics club "Jahn". The four "F" arranged in a cross shape stand for the motto of the gymnastics father: "Fresh - Pious - Happy - Free".
