Twistesee

In contrast to the other bathing areas, the bathing beach is taken care of by the DLRG and is thus also suitable for not so safe swimmers.

The lake is a tourist magnet (especially for travelers with RVs). With a circumference of almost seven kilometers, it is not only suitable for cyclists and hikers, but also for inline skaters, since about 3/4 of the way is paved. There are numerous activity options here. There is a water ski facility on the lake, a golf course (with clubhouse), an adventure miniature golf course, a lido (with a sandy beach and a playground) and the associated café/snack bar. The lake is recommended for young and old.

The Twistesee, small reservoir of the Twiste is beautifully located in a valley and offers a lot of recreational opportunities that go beyond hiking cycling and swimming a lot.
