The whole fisherman’s trail of the Rota Vicentina is astonishing beautiful. Walking mostly along the dunes and cliffs overseeing the sea on the one and beautiful flowers on the other hand. The route has a perfectly organized webpage and good description. Walking on sand makes the distances of 15-23 km seem longer than they are but it is worth every step. We went in mid-May when it was comfortably warm and the flowers were in blossom all around us. My favourite trail in the world

Easy to walk path on top of the cliff with a stunning view over the little bay of Odeceixe.

We went the hike in reverse to the original. Nice walk on the river, great view from the cliffs on the environment and the sea. Success was the fast-completion with a rest on the beach and the return to the village through a worth seeing valley.
