The storks can be seen from the bike path and complement the various birdhouses, which hang here in countless variations. Some have a species of bird painted on it and the name of the bird is on it.

A beautiful route through the Gessental. You should also get off your bike and listen to the murmur of the stream. Also very nice are the many, very differently designed birdhouses along the way.

The Gessental stretches from Gera to Ronneburg. The bike path is very well developed. There are many birdhouses hanging along the way, all of which have been designed differently.

The bike path is very well developed and, in my opinion, the best (next to the Elsterradweg), which is in Gera's environment (many bike paths Gera has not).
