When the Aiblingen church became a parish church, the rectory remained in Ellmosen for a long time. It was not until 1482, when the Gundelhofer brothers gave the parish church a parlor on the Hofberg, did the parish court become the same, and the priest moved to Aibling. The parish church stands high above the city, a monumental stone staircase leads up from the city. Most of the current church dates from the first half of the 15th century.
