Cement statue sculpted by Marcel Pierre. This 10 m high monument is located on the Butte de Monthard at the highest point of Lignières-Orgères at 371 m above sea level. Father Beucher had vowed to raise a statue at the Sacré Coeur if Lignières was protected during the battles of the Liberation. The Sacré-Coeur was inaugurated by Monseigneur Richaud, bishop of Laval, on April 25, 1948.

The statue and its history are interesting. The view is also very beautiful. But the path is not really suitable for a trekking bike with luggage. It is very steep and in places it is more like a field path.
