Numerous testimonies of old forms of farming can be found along the way, e.g. in the form of calcareous semi-arid grasslands, flower-colored hay meadows and shallow shards of limestone fields.
The circular route is almost 6.5 kilometers long and climbs the southern slope of the Heinberg from Germete, then turns in the direction of Warburg and finally leads back down to Diemel through the beech forest.
