North coastal loop! Nicer, and more quiet. Well worth taking a train to Figueres (or ride back and forth). HARD ride but well worth it.

A spin to Sanctuari El Far. GREAT views. Pretty fast ride, first 65km mostly up, the latter half is a lot quicker! Sanctuari might be open for food/drinks, otherwise Les Planes Hostoles or Sant Feliu de Pallerols on the way back

Great spin, very undulating but rewarding with great views and numerous coffee options in Banyoles. My favorite: La Menuda for the outstanding pastries and great coffee. If you need lake side seating: Aquarium, also for some more hearty options.

One of the very best long rides from Girona. Going up to Condreu, riding an amazing bit of back roads and then descent into the Guilleries to then climb out via Sant Hilari Sacalm. Not easy, but very very good.

A classic, 90km ride, up to Sant Hilari Sacalm. One of the only 'real' longer climbs close to Girona. 15km ish. Lovely descent through the Osor valley. Please note: don't do this direction in cold weather, the Osor valley is cold/wet. V nice in warm weather though.

The classic. Stop in Annna in Feliu for coffee, and a (mandatory) beer stop at Doskiwis about 100km in (check opening times!!). Options are to go back via Els Angels or via Bordils fruit fields if you don't fancy a climb after beers..
