The diocesan sanctuary of San Michele Arcangelo is located in Carpineto (fraction of Fisciano) at an altitude of 598 metres. The entire complex dates back to the 17th century and after a period of decline which led to the almost total abandonment of the entire complex, in 2011 the Sanctuary was restored and reopened to the public.
