The nutrient-poor lake (water surface area 23 hectares, maximum depth 15 meters) is a rare type of Kesselsee - low in lime in cohesive soil, fed by slope and rainwater, with intermediate moor and raised bog formation on the edges. A plant cover of mosses and other plants, especially those that form runners, floats on the edges. The small footbridge that leads over the edge to the open water surface is very idyllic. Away from the Baltic Sea cliffs, beach and pier, you will find a real outdoor gem here.
