Panorama at the mountain Warenkopf (401m). A bank invites you to linger. Herreshagen is situated in the valley between the northern elevations of Stentenberg and Warenkopf and the southern heights of Gummershardt and Sonnenberg. In 1535, the place was first mentioned in a document by Huppert van Hersthagen being listed in the freedoms list of freelance Adolf Möllenbeck. The village of Herreshagen belonged to the imperial rule of Gimborn-Neustadt until 1806
