Restored Lime Kiln; in a small bay you can still see the remains of the former port where the limestone was delivered. He came from other islands like Fuerteventura or Gran Canaria.

During the colonization of the islands and given the urgent need to accommodate the new population, the first houses were built using combustible materials. Subsequently, many of them were destroyed by fires until, from the 16th century, a gradual and progressive change in construction took place, driven by the use of materials such as stone, clay and other types of mortar. Thus, between the 16th and 18th centuries, lime kilns spread throughout the archipelago and with them the crafts linked to the progressive use of this raw material.
