Here on the river bank of the Danube just before Regensburg you have the opportunity once again to lie comfortably on the beach and relax. The view of the Danube and the opposite shore is beautiful. If you want, you can even go swimming here or just cool your feet.

Here is the Schillerwiese, a historic bathing place on the Danube that has almost been forgotten.
About 20 years ago the city of Regensburg began to create and maintain stretches of beach. Since then you can lie in the gravel or in the meadow in the shade of the trees or in the sun.
Drivers must walk at least 500 m. That is why almost all of them come by bike 🚲 😎.
There is no cafe or bar here, so bring your own picnic 🍉🍔🍺. Sometimes an ice cream truck comes by 🍦.
Oh yes, swimming is also very good here 🏊.
