At Reinfeld station - similar to Bargteheide station - two parallel two-story buildings on a high base are connected by a slightly lower intermediate section. It was built between 1862 and 1865.
1865 - August 1st opening of the Hamburg-Lübeck railway line, initially single-track.
1876 - double-track expansion of the railway line. Construction of a ramp for loading sugar beets
1980 - reconstruction of the platforms with an access tunnel.
