From the Oberer Lechsee bird sanctuary, a detour to the Venezia ice cream parlor is definitely worthwhile. The ice cream cone is best eaten on the banks of the Lech, where the Lech offers a fascinating view. We continue to the Schmuttersee with a wonderful view of the Hochplatte, Branderschrofen, Tegelberg and Säuling. The water appears brown due to the boggy subsoil, but it is a wonderful bathing lake. If you haven't bathed enough yet, you can still jump into the Illasbergsee. There, too, a mountain panorama is offered on the sunbathing lawn.
