The return journey took place with the DB from Garmisch to Ulrichsbrücke/Füssen. From there it is another 15 km of easy cycling back to Bayerniederhofen.
The one-hour train ride along the Zugspitze, the Loisach and into the Tyrolean countryside is worth the tour itself.
