Tips
The Palu' refuge is in Valmalenco. It can be reached on foot from San Giuseppe or from the arrival of the cable car that leaves from Chiesa Valmalenco. It is a stage of the Alta Via della Valmalenco, a passage along the Sentiero Italia path and an excellent stopover for those coming from Switzerland from Poschiavo or from the Maloya Pass. Open in both summer and winter. Rooms with bathroom and heating. Great for skiers, ski mountaineers, cross-country skiers and hikers. Recommended in intermediate seasons for more relaxation (spring autumn). Ideal place for mushroom, fishing, biking and trekking enthusiasts. From the refuge you can make excursions of easy and medium difficulty.
