The tithe barn has been beautifully renovated and is therefore impressive.

Built as a tithe barn for the diocese under Prince-Bishop Lorenz von Bibra (r. 1495-1519) and expanded by his successor, Philipp Adolf von Ehrenberg (r. 1622-1631), the imposing three-story building with a stepped gable served as an agricultural warehouse well into the 20th century. Since 1988, the building, converted into a town hall by architect Alexander Freiherr von Branca, has provided space for celebrations, conferences, concerts, lectures, and much more.
