The Roringer Warte is a medieval quarry stone from the year 1407th According to information board, it was built to monitor the road to Duderstadt and the Harz.
In addition to the approx. 2.5 km as the crow flies distant Nikolausberger waiting (also called Rieswarte) and the Diemardener waiting to my knowledge, no further remains of the medieval warning and security system of the waiting of Göttingen have been preserved.
