From the Ettaler Kloster it is a difficult but manageable tour if you have the necessary stamina. You pass the Ochsensitz and the Ziegelspitz beforehand.
So round trip very nice. Only the descent from the Notkarspitze towards Ettal was not without it.
A lot of gravel and rubble. Hiking sticks are helpful here.

Very nice, varied tour. The ascent directly from Ettal is steep and secured with climbing aids / wire ropes, some in need of repair. In my opinion, difficult or dangerous when it rains or snow, when or when you are traveling with children and prefer the somewhat longer ascent route from the hiking car park. Directly before the summit there are some steeper, but not difficult parts. Attention, be sure to take enough water with you, at least on this ascent there was no water point. We hiked south from the summit to Hasenjöchl and then to Garmisch. Approx. 4-5 hours, recommended.
