Free parking space. If you feel like it after the tour, you can take a dip in the lido or stop in the restaurant on the lake. Due to the lido, it is to be expected that the parking lot will be occupied early on nice days. There are a few alternative parking spaces on the road to Pflegeersee.

Those who shy away from the vertical meters to the Königsstand or just want to take a short tour between two showers can switch to the Prälatensteig. The Prälatensteig is not particularly spectacular and apparently not so much used. Anyone entering the Prälatensteig from the north may therefore have to play a little scouting before the single trail is found.

The climb does not lead as close to the rock walls as hoped, there is basically only one point that reaches the Seles walls, everything else runs a few meters below the walls through the forest. There are some nice views of the valley, Farchant and the Kuhflucht waterfalls.

The climb itself is very narrow and, apart from a few places, not particularly demanding. But you should be sure-footed. The slope has a lot of inclination, missteps could lead to uncomfortable balls in some places, but a steep fall is not to be expected. However, some longer passages lead through thick, knee-high grass. Those who are out and about after rainy days have to expect wet pants down to the knee or wear rainproof pants. We did not come across ticks on the Prälatensteig, but maybe we were just lucky :-)
