Vilím Věnceslav Havelka (1780-1847) was a forester on the Colloredo-Mansfeld estate in Opočno, Josef Liboslav Ziegler (1782-1846) was a priest, translator and writer. Together they published a translation of the book by the well-known German forester Georg Ludwig Hartig The Art of the Forest according to Jiří Ludwig Hartig (abbreviated title).
