The hunting lodge is famous mainly for the names of Rudolf Těsnohlídek and Leoš Janáček. Rudolf Těsnohlídek placed the plot of his lyrical fable Liška Bystrouška here. The composer Leoš Janáček then used this theme as a model libretto to the opera The Adventures of the Cunning Fox from 1924. Not far from the hunting lodge is the well of L. Janáček.
