This is a small primitive campsite located along the Florida National Scenic Trail. It includes a bench, fire ring and a picnic table. There is no water available except for the Kissimmee-River. The water should be treated.

A free permit is required from South Florida Water Management District to camp at Rattlesnake Hammock Campsite. You can make your reservation online at sfwmd.gov/community-residents/recreation/sul. Choose KICCO to get to the right area.
