The Hohe Kugel (1645 m) is one of the local mountains in the area and offers a fantastic view of the Rhine Valley, Lake Constance and the Swiss mountains.

The Kugelalpe is less than 10 minutes below the summit
It is leased by the Union Ski Club Klaus-Weiler from October to May and catered for by a team of around 30 people. Two people each do a hut service. You can find their names in the hut calendar. If the snow conditions make a climb dangerous, this will also be announced in the hut calendar. You can also call the hut attendants

The Hohe Kugel can be done at any time of the year and you are rarely alone on the summit :-)

Great for stopping off, at the Alpe there is self-service for clear drinks, cakes and cold food, we have well-stocked bread. They also sell their own cheese.
